Dear Me,
So I mentioned yesterday that Dita got a haircut. I also mentioned that she's a long haired Chihuahua and so, unless you show your dog (and I don't), they need a haircut from time to time.
Though well behaved, Dita is not a fan of the groomers.
It stresses her out a lot and after getting a haircut. When she comes home, she is happy to see all of us and lets us all pick her up and snuggle her a little, she doesn't tolerate it as much as she would normally.
I guess she figures she's been manhandled enough for one day.
So this is what she looks like after her hair was cut.
We get her a lion cut in the summer because it strangely seems to help with her allergies, as she is not costantly itching as she usually is.
We are still waiting to see the dermatologist vet to find out what exactly she's allergic to. We've been waiting since Novemeber!
I'm going to have to phone our vets office to get the number of the dermatologists office because to be honest, we're all getting a bit tired of waiting. With summer coming the itching will be ten times worse!
We know it's not from her food, because we tried several different kinds of kibble and she still was itchy. So it has to be enviromental. Which means it could be practically anything!
I suspect grass is probably something to do with it as she is so small it rubs against her.
Other than that I'm clueless.
*sigh*
So anyway, on with the show!
