This one is a bit of a downer but it's one of the first things I came across. Also, it applies to Canadian stats, but I've seen Australian versions, British versions and American versions so I'm pretty sure it's a fact that is across the board and here it is:
CF Fun Fact
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian (Australian, British and American) children and young adults. There is no cure.
