Dear Me,

 

   Today I am feeling very discouraged.  I'm trying to think up a new story to write.  It's not going well.  I mean, I have characters thought up but I don't know what to do with them.
Initially I thought I wanted to write historical romance.  I had a good-ish story about the French Revolution.  I didn't finish it because I lost interest.
I started reading paranormal romance that then led into urban fantasy novels.  I want to write like these kinds of stories as they are fun to read.  The problem is writing them is a lot harder.  I want to include my historical research but then most of the books I read usually take place in a contemporary setting.
I would love if I could write a book like  A Discovery of Witches but I also want to start small.  Maybe a romance with a witch involved.  I don't know what to do.  *sigh* just gotta think so more.
