Count Down to 2016: Day Five: A Year in Review (aka Life Story)

Dear Me,

I probably should have started on day ten, but it just occurred to probably write this now, so here we are.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened this year until the end of June.  I moved out of my parent's house and moved in with my fiancee.  Which stressed me out big time.  Apparently as you age, change tends to smack you across the face and play havoc with your mind.  When I was twenty, moving out was more of a celebration.  Sixteen years later, it's OMG, can we afford this?  Why is rent so fucking high???  Not to mention the bloody car insurance.  So had a bit of a panic attack, huzzah.

Though I will admit that there are positives, like, I don't have to my parents constantly bicker about nothing.  I'm living with a man I love and I finally have cats!  Wonderful, little black cats.  Life doesn't get much better than life with the wee kitties around.  Except for awhile, one of them had an issue with his gut, and we got the other, even though we couldn't quite afford her.  But we can now, so...cool right?

Things are going well.  The S.O. nearly looses his job, but thankfully, gets a new one two weeks after, which is with a larger company and a slightly better pay.  Money is a little tight but we make it through.  Life goes on and I begin to think about taking a writing course.  I mean, I was going to take it in September but with the new move I couldn't afford it. Anyway! Life goes on,

In December, ahhh, December.  The most expensive time of the year (hence the previous post).  I am more than happy to buy for friends and family.  But this year is extra special!  Our car has crapped out.  Literally crapped out!!  Our motor is dead. Shot.  No longer works.  Which means we get to spend $3000.  Right before Christmas.  Not to mention the $3500 I have owing on my credit card.  But that one's my fault and for another entry.

So that is my 2015 in a nutshell.
