So today my S.O officially became unemployed. Yaaaaaaaay!
As I may have said before, the economy where I live has sort of tanked. Now people are scrambling for jobs and trying to hold on to what they have. We are probably not the first people in this situation and we certainly won't be the last. The problem is, instead of finding and getting a job in two weeks after losing the previous one, I'm terrified it will take months.
Then what do we do?
Do we move back in with my parents?
Will they let us keep our cats (this is a big concern for me because those furry little nuts need us and I really don't want to be forced to give up pets that are perfectly well behaved and at least in one case, a dog in a cat suit.)?
Because of these concerns I've decided to keep a record of the process of helping find another job for my beloved. Will it take a month? Two? Six? Who knows??
This is not my idea of good time.
